Security-as-a-Service Provider expands its executive team to accelerate its presence in the IT channel and further strengthen its partner program
My Digital Shield® (MDS), a leading provider of Security-as-a-Service (SECaaS) for small businesses, today announced that Stuart Selbst, a channel industry veteran, has joined its executive team as vice president of channel sales. In this role, Selbst will be responsible for overseeing marketing and sales operations, strengthening MDS’ partner network and helping further its presence throughout the channel.
With more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry and expertise in the professional services automation and managed service provider arenas, Selbst brings a wealth of knowledge to his role at MDS. As a well-respected industry leader and speaker, Selbst joins MDS after serving as the managing partner of Stuart Selbst Consulting, LLC, a firm that offers executive-level business coaching and consulting across the technology industry, including firms in the U.S., U.K. and Australia.

Selbst’s experience ranges from work across large corporate enterprise IT departments to starting and successfully managing his own managed services business. Selbst brings expertise in the areas of network design, security and compliance of mid-market businesses. An industry veteran, Selbst has received many awards and accolades over the course of his career, with inclusion in MSP Mentor’s Top 250 Most Influential Industry Executives list from 2009-2012; SMB Nation’s SMB Top 150 list from 2011-2013; and he was most recently added to The VAR Guy’s 50 most influential people list in 2015.
