Inside Channel Manager

Cumming, GA
Travel Involved: None

The Inside is responsible for handling inbound sales leads and converting them to new business. This position will be based in Cumming, GA and support our Partners and Partner Development Teams. The scheduled working hours are 8am – 5pm Eastern Standard Time.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (a combination of education and experience will be considered)
  • Two – three (2 -3) years experience selling Security Software
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent electronic correspondence skills, with knowledge of basic business research tools
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter
  • Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receiving and responding to inbound sales leads and converting them to new business.
  • Maximizing coverage within a defined region and penetrate organizations with OmniNet services
  • Coordinating sales activities with field sales teams/partners/consultants/distributors and resellers to identify and close new business
  • Initiating telephone and email contact with potential prospects from developed web and lead generation lists; cold calling as needed
  • Developing a solid working knowledge of OmniNet services and the benefits they provide to potential customers
  • Providing support to qualified prospects and customers including follow up, product information, quotations and closures
  • Providing forecasting and account opportunity as needed
  • Updating and maintaining the OmniNet CRM system

Regional Channel Manager

Chicago, Atlanta, NJ, Boston, Austin, Portland
Travel Involved: 41 – 50%

The Regional Channel Manager is responsible for developing and accomplishing sales objectives by managing a reseller relationship within a designated territory. The successful candidate will manage daily sales relationships and represent OmniNet in all aspects of business development, marketing and sales within the assigned geographical territory.

EXPERIENCE

  • Successful sales experience with a regional reseller, experience with regional VARs is a plus
  • Proven track record of successful selling within a 2 tier distribution environment
  • Knowledge of security technology, experience with Point of Sales software or services is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time within assigned Region

  • Proven track record of successful product management within a 2 tier model
  • Knowledge of security technology and leverage within a 2 tier model

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing relationships in a highly leverage, matrixed environment
  • Develop goals that are measurable and drive productivity within assigned national partners
  • Participating in impactful QBRs with meaningful and measureable action items, as well as follow-up
  • Leverage executive level relationships within assigned partners
  • Achieving revenue targets and goals for assigned partners
  • Developing and executing partner plan with variable rebates and goals
  • Recruiting, training and enabling Partners and sellers with the focus on SMB business

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP AND ACCOUNTABILITY
This position reports to the Director of Regional Sales Team, North America

METRICS
Quota 100% based on North America revenue growth targets for assigned partners. KPIs would be:

  • Integration into security practice and go-to-market
  • Regional alignment and growth
  • Execution of national plan and executive relationships
